Abstract
The process of borrowing and returning library books can take a lot of time and money because of the need for manual recording. Utilization of web-based library information system can save costs and time because the process has been done using a computer. This study aims to create a web-based library information system at SMK Kawung 1 Surabaya.
The research method used is Research and Development. Model development process with waterfall method consisting of design needs, design, implementation and testing. Then used UML visual modeling is the
standardization of modeling language for the development of object-oriented information systems.
