Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out the role of a shadow teacher in Singapore National Academy. To achieve these objectives, the data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Results from the research showed that the role of a shadow teacher in Singapore National Academy is to help students to stay focused on the lesson, encourage them to participate in class discussions, and tell the teacher if they do not understand the subject .
