Abstract
he purpose of this study is to know about these documents in the ship's departure PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines. Data collection methods used are observation, documentation , and literature. The results of this study show that documents the ship's departure and certificates needed in PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines broadly in accordance with the opinion of Suyono (2005) include:
Sailing Declaration of quarantine, Cargo Manifest, Port Clearance Out, Immigration Clearance, Quarantine Clearance, Custom Clearance, Light dues, AEOS (Ships and Goods Service Center) out of the port authority. Obstacles that occur in the ship's departure is the lack of human resources. Therefore, the need to increase human resources in order to be able to leave the ship in a timely manner in accordance with the schedule.
