Abstract

Bu Made's food business is one of the members of the UMKM Mekar Sari Elegant which is located in Surabaya in each sale has a shortage in brand
and packaging design, which has an impact on product marketing and sales,
especially Peyek Jangkrik and Krispi products. This product requires
strengthening the brand in the form of visual design.

The making of a brand visual design uses the Research and
Development method based on aspects of market trends, making graphic designs
with CorelDraw and Adobe Photoshop, and brand equity products. After
processing, visual design is applied in the form of product logo design, packaging
design, business card design, and merchandise design.

The results of Research and Development show if product illustrations are
needed so that consumers can understand the brand concept that is carried. In
addition, a combination of dark green and bright yellow if applied to the graphic
design is not suitable.
