Abstract

Akar Cafe is one of the simple cafes in Surabaya with a pleasant place and always crowded with visitors. With a lot of sales transactions every day, unfortunately Akar Cafe still survives with a manual sales process, starting from recording orders to making manual purchase receipts. Of the many transactions, no one has been able to manage in detail so that in recording transaction reports,
errors often occur when processing data. The Point of Sales for Akar Cafe information system is a web-based
information system that makes it easy for Akar Cafe owners and workers to conduct sales transactions and data reports. This system is made with the PHP
programming language and MySQL database for data storage.
The results of this system include managing user data, menu data, menu ordering processes, sales transaction transactions, printing receipts, and sales reports. Through this Point of Sales, it is expected that Akar Cafe can work more efficiently with good and improved service.
