Abstract
Promotion is a communication activity between companies and consumers as an
effort to warn consumers in purchasing activities as desired. NSC Polytechnic
Surabaya as a private university of course also uses special promotion strategies
to compete with other universities to get new students. This is specifically the duty
and responsibility of the new student committee so far has carried out
promotional strategies through the promotion team, offline and online. The
purpose of this study is to determine the promotion strategies used to increase
the number of new students. The collection was obtained through interviews
obtained from the chairman of the new student committee of 3 people. The result
of this study is an effective promotion strategy through Public Relations,
Personal Selling and Direct Marketing.
